隨著委內瑞拉12月國會大選接近，又有一位反對派領袖設立辦事處的計畫遭到當局禁止。
反對派前市長斯卡拉諾(Enzo Scarano)16日表示，委內瑞拉審計官員禁止他設立公開的辦事處，期限一年。在兩天前，另一位反對派領袖、前國會議員馬查多(Maria Corina Machado)也遭到同樣的禁令。
事實上，這已是第三位遭禁止設立辦事處的委內瑞拉反對領袖。在本月初，當局已經對前塔奇拉州聖克里斯托巴市市長賽巴約斯(Daniel Ceballos)發出禁令。
這3位反對派領袖，都是今年12月6日國會大選的候選人。根據各項民意調查，反對派可望在此次大選中獲勝。
委內瑞拉執政黨目前在國會擁有多數席次，但由於基本民生物資短缺、高通貨膨脹率以及犯罪嚴重，委內瑞拉人民普遍不滿馬杜洛(Nicolas Maduro)總統，使得29個政黨組成的反對派聯盟，可望贏得自前領導人查維斯(Hugo Chavez)取得政權16年以來在國會選舉的第一次勝利。
